How to complete mandatory intership

When can my mandatory internship be done?

Student internship is mandatory for both, full-time and part-time students of Bachelor studies and it can be pursued beginning from the 4th semester until the 6th semester of studies. Internship has to be settled in the same semester in which it has been pursued.

Internships done before 4th semester are considered as non-obligatory and will not be awarded with ECTS points.

How long should the internship last?

  • 3 weeks for students of Management (Bachelor)
  • 6 internships (1 for each semester), each 3 months long for students of Double Degree Program in Management with DHBW-Mannheim (Bachelor)
  • 3 weeks for students of Finance and Accounting (Bachelor)

The internship is not mandatory for Master students.

Where do I have to register the internship?

The internship registration module is available after logging in to ikozminski.edu.pl website, bookmark 'Career Development Office' (login and password are the same as for the Virtual University), then click on the 'register your internship' button.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office.

Four ways to complete your mandatory internship

  • Pursue standard internship

    • Before the internship

Before your internship begins you should obtain permission from Rector’s Proxy for Student Internships. To do this, fill out the registration form available at ikozminski.edu.pl. The system will generate three documents:

    1. Recommendation for a Student Internship

    2. Internship Agreement

    3. Internship learning outcomes, which the student should achieve during the internship

NOTE! Please register your internship at least 3 weeks prior to its scheduled start! Rector’s Proxy has 7 working days to verify the documents registered in the system and another 7 days to sign the documents generated by the system.

Once they are approved and your status at ikozminski.edu.pl is changed to „documents ready to be picked up”  please come and collect them at the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office.

    • After the internship

As the final step, please submit all of the documents (Recommendation, Agreement, Learning Outcomes, Report) to the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office.
